Seth Rollins finally opened up about what many are calling the Ruse of the Centuryfaking a knee injury at WWE Saturday Nights Main Event in July, which set up a perfectly executed Money in the Bank cash-in at SummerSlam. Now, Rollins is telling all about how he pulled it off, who knew, and why he doesnt feel the slightest bit guilty.

Appearing on the SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, Rollins revealed only a handful of people were in on the act from the start.

As for whose idea it was, Rollins said it was pitched to him weeks ahead of time.

Rollins made it clear the plan depended on executionand he knew he could sell it.

When asked if it was hard to pull off such a convincing fake injury, Rollins responded with total confidence.

And thats exactly what happened once the broadcast ended.

So did Rollins feel bad for fooling the fansand his colleagues? Not at all. He even passed the guilt onto his wife, Becky Lynch.

There was one person Rollins did have to dodge, thoughJohn Cena. According to Rollins, Cena personally reached out during the injury angle.

Rollins will now team with Becky Lynch to face CM Punk and AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza, in whats shaping up to be one of the most emotionally charged matches on the card.
