The Spanish ace is undoubtedly the most anticipated player and will try to lead Team Europe once again, after his contribution was decisive in the last edition which was staged at the Uber Arena in Berlin (Germany).
The 22-year-old from Murcia is having the best season of his career, having already lifted seven trophies so far and having finally shown that consistency that he had always lacked since setting foot on the professional tour.
It is no secret that Carlitos wanted to become world number 1 again by dethroning his huge rival Jannik Sinner, who had defeated him in the Wimbledon final, which is why he was always focused on New York and won the sixth Major title of his young career (the second in 2025 after Roland Garros).
Alcaraz is having an amazing season
Alcaraz's next goal is to maintain this position until the end of this year and to succeed in this goal he will have to play his best tennis also in tournaments on indoor hard courts. To celebrate his triumph at Flushing Meadows, Carlos went to his hairdresser as he had promised and dyed his hair blonde. The other members of his team also respected the bet they made before the tournament started and changed their hairstyle. For example, Juanjo Moreno his physiotherapist also dyed his hair blonde, while his agent Albert Molina preferred to shave his head as well as his personal doctor Juanjo Lopez.
The star from Murcia could also add the Davis Cup Finals to his schedule, as Spain qualified against Denmark.
