WWE just added a major twist to tonights episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
In a new video posted across WWEs official social media channels, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis ran down the full lineup for the September 12, 2025 showand dropped one more surprise for fans tuning in.
Aldis confirmed that Sami Zayn will defend the United States Championship in an open challenge, with no hint of who might accept. The mystery challenger instantly adds to the unpredictability to a card thats already stacked ahead of the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event.

- Brock Lesnar appearance coming off a brutal attack on John Cena last week
