Jannik Sinner says he will never get tired of bumping into Carlos Alcaraz and provided two strong reasons for that claim.
Since Sinner returned to action in May, he appeared in four finals and Alcaraz was his rival on every occasion. On Friday, the world No. 1 defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in the US Open semifinal, while the second-ranked Spaniard handled the business against Novak Djokovic. Now, everything is set for the third consecutive Grand Slam final between the two top-ranked players in the men's game.
In his post-match presser, the 24-year-old Italian was asked if there was a chance of him ever "getting sick of seeing Alcaraz."

Sinner explains why he likes frequently bumping into Alcaraz on and off the court
On the court, we like to see each other... Considering our ranking, it means were doing well in the tournament. Off the court, we bump into each other at times. I dont know if we are happy or not (smiles.) No... I think its great. We have a great relationship off the court. Everything is fine between him and me," the four-time Grand Slam winner said.
Alcaraz defeated Sinner in the French Open final, as well as in the finals of the Masters tournaments in Rome and Cincinnati. Meanwhile, the Italian ended triumphant in their Wimbledon title clash. Overall, the Spaniard leads their head-to-head 9-5.
When it specifically comes to the US Open, they have met once there. En route to becoming a Grand Slam champion at Flushing Meadows in 2022, Alcaraz impressively saved a match point before beating Sinner in five sets in the quarterfinal.
