WWE has been slowly implementing two-night Premium Live Events, which started with WrestleMania and now SummerSlam. While some fans like this idea, it appears Matt Riddle isnt a fan and has criticized WWE for this move.
While speaking to Rewind Recap Relive, Matt Riddle criticized WWEs decision to expand events like SummerSlam into a two-night Premium Live Event. He said he was shocked by the move and felt it was reckless. While wishing WWE the best, he pointed out that ticket prices had dropped and there were still a lot of seats to fill.
Riddle explained that even though WWE might make up the numbers, he believed TKO would eventually realize that its better to fill a stadium at a lower price than to leave half the seats unsold at higher prices. For him, having a packed stadium creates a stronger atmosphere and leaves fans with memories that last forever, which he felt was more valuable in the long run.
Despite what Matt Riddle thinks, WWE could be planning more two-night Premium Live Events following SummerSlams success. So, fans can expect to see more two-night events in the future, as its clearly going well for them so far.
