Trish Stratus truly loves her family and puts them above anyone else. Unfortunately, Stratus has some sad news to share as she announced the passing of her beloved mother.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to her Instagram and uploaded a video, revealing her mother has passed away after a battle with cancer. She said its hard to even write about it because it makes the loss feel real. For her, her mom was more than a parent; she was her best friend, safe place, and biggest supporter who was there through every big and small moment in her life.
Stratus said her mom was always by her side, whether cheering from the crowd, traveling with her, or being a loving Nana to her children. Trish said her kids only knew a life with their grandmother always around, which made it very hard to explain to them that she wont be there anymore.
Stratus described her mom as strong, selfless, and full of love, always thinking of others even during her hardest battles. Trish admitted life will never feel the same without her, and the thought of not hearing her voice, laugh or advice again feels impossible.
Even though people tell her that time will heal, she feels like a part of her will always be missing. Her comfort comes from knowing she will carry her moms spirit in everything she does and she promised that her children will never forget the amazing woman their Nana was.
Finally, she thanked her mom for loving her, shaping her into who she is, and teaching her strength. Stratus said she will miss her deeply but will keep her memory alive.
