Fans showed up in full force for Triplemana XXXIII on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The venue, which has a max capacity of 22,300, was packed, but the real story was the massive online audience.

This year marked the 33rd annual Triplemana and the 47th overall since 1993. It was also the first event following the joint acquisition of AAA by WWE and Fillip, finalized on August 1, 2025. Just a couple of weeks before the show, Paul Triple H Levesque confirmed it would stream live on YouTube.

Even before the show started, fans were ready. About thirty minutes before the broadcast went live, 11,000 fans were waiting. By the time the opening bell rang, over 40,000 fans were in the waiting room.

The numbers skyrocketed once the action got underway. Around ten minutes into the broadcast, 144,000 live viewers were already watching. During the first match, that shot up to 200,000, and by the end of the opening contest, the count climbed past 225,000.

Things only got hotter as the card rolled on. During the second-to-last match, WWE Espaol pulled 174,000 live viewers, AAAs official YouTube channel had 109,000, and WWEs main channel brought in 229,000.

When the main event hit, the numbers hit another level. WWE Espaol had 196,000 watching, AAA pulled 120,000, and WWEs English channel was on top with 255,000. That means a combined 571,000 fans tuned in live for the main event.

By the time the match ended, the total had jumped slightly to 577,000, an increase of 6,000 viewers. On average, the event drew about 190,000 per stream earlier in the night and 192,000 by the end. Across both peaks, the average total was 574,000 live viewers.

The final tally when it was all said and done? WWE Espaol racked up 369K views, AAA scored 221K views, and WWEs English channel dominated with 737K views. Thats a grand total of 1.33 million views across all platforms.

Triplemana remains AAAs biggest event of the year, standing shoulder to shoulder with WWEs WrestleMania and NJPWs Wrestle Kingdom. While the numbers dont yet rival WrestleMania, AAA has every reason to celebrate after drawing over a million combined streams.

AAA clearly showed that Triplemana is a global event fans are willing to turn out for both in-person and online.
