There has been a lot of talk about Alberto Del Rio possibly going back to WWEafter his AAA exit, and now Rey Mysterio has fanned the flames since he promised to bring back Del Rio.
During AAAs TripleMania XXXIII show, fans started chanting Alberto Del Rios name while Rey Mysterio was in the ring. Instead of ignoring them, the Master of the 619 actually responded to the fans in Spanish, promising to bring back Del Rio, saying, Ill bring him, wait for me.
This comes after Alberto Del Rio lost to El Mesias on the July 25, 2025 edition of AAA Alianzas,effectively exiling him from the company. It was then reported Del Rios statuswith WWE has not changed and many assumed theres no way hed be back.
While Del Rios future in WWE hasnt been confirmed, its clear theres interest behind the scenes. We had then reported thatthere are no plans for Del Rio to go to the U.S., but that could change, especially since even Rey Mysterio has now promised to bring back Del Rio.
Rey Mysterios comments have fans talking and wondering if Alberto Del Rio might really return to WWE. Its not clear yet if it will happen, but Mysterios support suggests the chance isnt completely gone. Given Mysterios pull in the company and Del Rios past in WWE, we really shouldnt be surprised if Del Rio does come back soon.
