After this weeks episode of AEW Collision, the AEW President took a moment to thank fans for tuning in. But that positivity was met with negativity when a fan jumped into his replies with a bold prediction: Wwe is gonna bring you down and close shop cant wait.
Tony Khan didnt let it slide. Instead of firing off a rant, he kept it short and sarcasticdropping a GIF of Star Treks Captain Jean-Luc Picard saying: That will be the day.
Clearly unfazed, Khan gave a sassy shrug at the notion AEW is anywhere near shutting its doors. The timing of the exchange is notable, as WWE continues booking major Premium Live Events directly against AEW programming. Most recently, WWE scheduled another big show to go head-to-head with AEW All Outa move many see as intentional.
But if Tony Khans reply says anything, its that hes still swinging. Hes not backing downand hes more than happy to troll doubters who think WWEs pressure will fold AEW.
