Newcastle United have unveiled their new away kit for the 2025/26 season and green is back on the menu.

After last seasons claret and blue stripes, the Magpies return to a bold green colourway thats fast becoming a signature look in their post-takeover era.

Crafted by adidas, the shirt features an all-over tonal print inspired by the sweeping arches of the Tyne Bridge a proud symbol of the city. White detailing on the collar, cuffs and branding keeps things clean, while a v-neck design and subtle NUFC sign-off at the back of the neck add sharp finishing touches.

The full kit is completed with white shorts marked by adidas iconic three stripes in green, and matching green socks featuring a small Magpie crest.

Speaking about the launch, club captain Bruno Guimares said: I think this new away kit looks great I love all of our kits for this season. Im sure our fans will love them too, because they represent who we are and what it means to wear the Newcastle United badge.

While green has made occasional appearances in past Newcastle kits, its prominence in recent years including the full green strip from 2022/23 reflects a new chapter for the club.

Many have drawn comparisons to the Saudi Arabian national teams colours, a likely nod to the clubs current ownership group.

Still, with the team thriving on the pitch since the takeover, most fans will agree if the wins keep coming, they wont mind what colour the shirts are.
