Adrian Meronk proved hes got game at the latest LIV Golf tournament in the UK. The Polish golfer shot a solid round of 6 under par; 65 strokes with no bogeys; and he's now tied for the lead with two others.

The Polish golfer made four birdies in the last five holes, and thus laid the foundations for success at this prestigious tournament.

At the press conference after the tournament, the popular golfer spoke about the importance of winning this tournament, proud because he found himself in a great situation.

Even though people expect a lot from him, Meronk is doing his best to keep up with the top players and fight for the top spots.

"Yeah, it's nice to be in this position again, obviously getting off to a good start this season. There was a lot of high expectations after that, but unfortunately my form dropped a little bit. I was working a little bit on a few things in my swing and just didn't feel very comfortable on the course.

But finally I'm enjoying myself on the course and playing good golf again, which is quite exciting. It's great to be back in this position, and I'm really looking forward to this weekend and to three more tournaments this year.."- he said.

The famous golfer played a phenomenal round, and in an interview with the media he admitted that it was frustrating to encounter the same barriers week after week. However, Meronk knew that there would come a moment when his game would be at its peak, and that just happened at the last LIV tournament.

"Yeah, it was very frustrating. As I said, when you start the season quite well, you have high expectations. You want to keep going, keep having good results, keep shooting good scores. But sometimes it just doesn't happen.."- he said.
