Life is precious, and in an instant, it can change. As fans continue to grieve over the unexpected news of Hulk Hogan's passing from cardiac arrest earlier this week, no one was more heartbroken to get the call about this life-altering moment than Hogan's former manager, Jimmy Hart. When speaking to People over Hogan's passing, he was bewildered at how his most recent interaction with the "Hulkster" would be his last: "I called [Hogan] on Wednesday night, and then Thursday morning is when everything took place. So just...just overnight it all happened, but it was so positive the day before."

Like many who were within Hogan's camp, including "The Mouth of the South," they were thrilled to hear that the former six-time WWE Champion's neck surgery in May was successful. In fact, Hogan's dear friend even reported that the Hall of Famer was doing "great [and]phenomenal" on his road to recovery two days before his passing. But when Hart received the devastating news that things had tragically took a turn for the worse, it was a hard pill to swallow.

"It just hits so fast. It was like, 'Oh my God.' We thought he was doing so well, you know?" the Hall of Famer continued. "We didn't go to see him at the house and didn't go to see him at the hospital, because we wanted to make sure that he didn't get any infections or anything else, like if anybody had a cold or brought anything in. So, that's what we all did."

Prior to Hogan's neck surgery, Hart told People that he was a frequent guest at Hogan's house. The two enjoyed staying up to date with the newest era of the industry by watching its weekly content together every Monday, Tuesdays, and Fridays. They also enjoyed their karaoke nights with Hogan's son, Nick, at the family's Hogan's Hangout bar in Clearwater, Florida. For those close to the larger-than-life showman, many of their hearts will never repair from this great loss, including Hart's. He attended last night's "WWE SmackDown," which paid a heartfelt tribute to the 12-time World Champion. The last time these two were seen on-screen together was at the beginning of this year on the premiere episode of "WWE Raw" on Netflix where Hogan appeared to promote hisReal American Beer product.
