John Cenas movieCoyote vs. Acmeis finally getting an official release date, after years of struggle.

According to Deadline, Coyote vs. Acme is now set for a global release on August 28, 2026. The news was shared during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con by one of the actors involved in the project.

The film, which features Wile E. Coyote taking legal action against the Acme Corporation after years of failed products and personal injuries, was originally shelved by Warner Bros. but later picked up by Ketchup Entertainment.

During the panel, moderator Paul Scheer joked about the films rocky path to release, mentioning how unexpected it was that the movie would ever see the light of day. He joked that the decision to move forward with the film was more of an Acme call than a Warner Bros. one.

Warner Bros. originally pulled the $70 million film Coyote vs. Acme from its theatrical release schedule as part of a cost-cutting strategy, opting to take a tax write-off instead. Thankfully, Ketchup Entertainment stepped in and bought the rights to the movie for around $50 million, giving the film a second chance.
