JoJo Offermans surprise performance at AEW All In: Texas wasnt just a touching tributeit sparked an emotional reaction across both AEW and WWE locker rooms.
Just before Swerve Stricklands match against Will Ospreay, JoJo took the stage and performed Aint Nobody, the same song Strickland once used during his pre-WWE entrance. The crowd didnt see it comingand neither did many in the industry.
While JoJo had previously appeared in a dark match as a ring announcer on AEW Collision, this was her first time in front of a national AEW audience. The performance doubled as a subtle nod to her late fianc Bray Wyatt, and that moment didnt go unnoticed behind the scenes.
According to Sean Ross Sapp during his Fightful Select Q&A show, WWE talent were especially touched by the tribute and JoJos return to a televised wrestling stage.
Sapp explained that Offermans appearance and the subtle Bray Wyatt tribute left people in both locker rooms genuinely moved. AEW officials were reportedly pleased with how everything played out and are planning to use JoJo again in the future. Meanwhile, some in WWE were hopeful that the moment could lead to more long-term opportunities for her in AEW.
