Michael Hayes keeps himself busy as a crucial member of the WWE Creative team but it appears hes currently away from his duties following surgery.
While speaking on My Moms Basement with Robbie Fox, CM Punk was asked about the behind-the-scenes people who dont always get credit. The Second City Saint mentioned Michael Hayes, revealing that Hayes is currently off the road because hes recovering from knee surgery, and said that everyone feels his absence.
Punk explained that there are a lot of people who help make WWE shows run smoothly, and losing even one person can make a difference. Even though they can still text Hayes, Punk said not having him there in person really makes an impact.
This comes after Michael Hayes had taken a temporary leave of absence from his WWE duties last year. Hayes played a huge role in creating The Bloodline storyline, working closely with Paul Heyman on Roman Reigns segments and thats why the angle became so successful.
