
Jelly Roll is working an extended program that will culminate in a match at SummerSlam and now hes revealed whose idea it was to work with him in the first place.
While speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, Jelly Roll talked about his in-ring training at the Performance Center. He said he was working with Matt Bloom when Undertaker and Michelle McCool came in.
They asked if they could watch for a bit, and he told them of course. Undertaker and Michelle ended up staying for the entire three-hour session, standing by the ropes and giving him one piece of advice after another.
Jelly Roll also revealed how Kevin Owens and Jacob Fatu came in and spent three to four hours wrestling with him. He said these guys are pouring into him because they can see how seriously hes taking it and how much heart he has for what hes doing.
The singer then revealed that it was actually Randy Orton who wanted to work with him for SummerSlam. When Randy got behind the idea, Jelly Roll couldnt believe it. He thought it was incredible that The Viper wanted to be his guy.
Jelly Roll also gave a lot of credit to Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul, saying he couldnt thank them enough. To him, Randy is absolutely on his Mount Rushmore of wrestling, the true Apex Predator.
Jelly Roll is set to team up with Randy Orton and square off againstLogan Paul and Drew McIntyre in a tag team match at the SummerSlam Premium Live Eventnext month, and its clear hes putting in the work. Therefore, well have to see how Jelly Roll will perform in his in-ring debut.
