Jayden Steele, known in the ring as Jordan Williams, has been arrested in connection with a disturbing domestic violence and kidnapping case.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriffs Office (SRSO) issued a press release on May 29, 2025, confirming the arrest of Williams, 34, after a victim came forward with a note detailing months of abuse and imprisonment.
According to the SRSO, the victim left a handwritten note in a local Navarre restroom on May 27, which revealed she was being held against her will and feared for her life. Deputies, using surveillance footage, prior case records, and witness interviews, identified Williams as the suspect.
Following up on the note, deputies executed a search warrant at the residence where Williams and the victim were believed to be. Inside, they found the victim, who confirmed the contents of the note, detailing repeated assaults, threats involving weapons, and a period of isolation spanning several months. Deputies noted visible injuries on the victim, and she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Jordan Williams was arrested on multiple felony charges, including:
- Felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon DV
- Felony Kidnap-False Imprisonment DV
- Felony Battery DV
- Misdemeanor Battery Touch or Strike DV
- Felony Battery by Strangulation DV
He was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on May 28, 2025, and is scheduled to appear before a judge on May 29 for a first appearance to determine if bond will be set.
Sheriff Johnson praised the efforts of his deputies and the bravery of the victim, stating:
This case represents the strength of coordinated work by my staff and the bravery of the victim. Thanks to her courage and the deputies swift actions, she is now safe and receiving care.
As of now, Williams remains incarcerated, with no indication of a release pending the outcome of his first appearance.
