Ric Flair is trying to shut down criticism after a wild story from Jim Ross resurfaced this week, accusing the WWE Hall of Famer of exposing himself at a private dinner.

After initially firing back at JR on Twitter, Flair followed up about an hour later with a post trying to spin the whole thing as a joke.

If You Cant Take A Joke From A 76 Year Old Man, Then You Are Living Life Too Seriously. It Was All Harmless, Lighthearted Fun! Just Trying To Make People Laugh & Smile! Flair wrote.

The tweet came after he responded directly to Jim Ross with another dig earlier in the day, writing: Jim Ross Will Always Be Jim Ross, Seeking Attention. Focus On Your Recovery @JRsBBQ!

That remark followed a report by Ringside News covering Ross recent appearance on Podcast Heat Wrestling, where he detailed an incident involving Flair at a birthday dinner for wrestling executive Gary Justers wife. Ross claimed that Flair walked into the bathroom with a garment bag and came out wearing just a robe, socks, and shoeswith no underwearand began strutting around with an erection in front of the stunned guests.

This resurfaced claim added more heat to Flairs already controversial reputation, especially given the timing. Just hours before the Ross story picked up traction, Flair posted a mock PSA-style image titled The WOOOOO Compromise on social media, a parody contract about consent that read in part:

For many, the juxtaposition of a consent meme and a resurfaced public exposure story painted Flairs tweet as tone-deaf at best, and deliberately provocative at worst.

Flairs insistence that this is all just lighthearted humor has done little to cool the reaction online, with many pointing to past allegationsincluding the infamous Plane Ride from Hell incident where he was accused of exposing himself and forcing a flight attendants hand onto his genitalsas a pattern of behavior.

Whether Ric Flair is trying to laugh it off or rewrite the narrative, the response suggests hes not taking the criticism seriouslyno matter how serious the claims.

Do you think Ric Flairs explanation that it was just a joke holds upor is this just another case of trying to dodge responsibility? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
