Ric Flair is firing back after a resurfaced story from Jim Ross added more fuel to his already controversial legacy.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter following coverage from Ringside News to lash out at JR, writing what many are interpreting as a direct shot at the wrestling legend.
The comment was posted shortly after Ringside News reported on a podcast appearance by Ross, where he told a disturbing story involving Flair allegedly exposing himself at a birthday dinner for a wrestling executives wife.
Ross shared the tale on Podcast Heat Wrestling, recalling how Flair walked into the bathroom during the dinner and came out wearing only socks, shoes, and a robewith no underwearand began strutting around with an erection in front of the guests.
The story added tension to an already uncomfortable narrative surrounding Flair, who earlier in the day posted a meme-style PSA called The WOOOOO Compromise with the tagline Consent Is Everything! WOOOOO! The mock contract jokingly referenced his Space Mountain gimmick and laid out terms for mutual consent in sexual encounters.
Coming from Flair, the timing of the post raised eyebrows. It landed just as fans were revisiting past accusations, including the infamous Plane Ride from Hell incident in which Flair was accused of exposing himself to a flight attendant and trying to force her hand on his genitals. That episode resulted in Flair being removed from WWEs intro package and essentially blacklisted for a period.
Despite these past issues, Flairs latest tweet suggests hes more focused on clapping back than addressing the storys contents. Whether its denial, deflection, or damage control, its clear the Nature Boy isnt staying silent.
