WWE fans saw Kairi Sane come back for her first match in over six months. This return to the ring also saw her old gimmick return, and fans were very happy to see it.
Kairi Sane was once known as the Pirate Princess in NXT, and it saw her gain a lot of accolades in the black and gold brand. She also took that gimmick to the main roster as part of her first run with the company. That gimmick went away when Damage CTRL took over her persona, but things have changed.
This week on WWE RAW, Kairi Sane took on Rhea Ripley and Zoey Stark in a triple threat match. This was a qualifying match for the Womens Money in the Bank match.
Much to fans surprise, Kairi Sane came out as the Pirate Princess for this match. That came with her telescope and a handful of gold coins. Naturally, fans were very excited to see her back with that gimmick.
Some newer fans, who never saw Kairi Sane in NXT or first WWE run, had never seen this side of her before, either. Others, who remember the gimmick, were also very happy to see it return.
We will have to see what happens in the future, but fans are very excited about seeing Kairi Sanes old Pirate Princess gimmick return.
