The first official teaser trailer for SABU has just been released, offering an emotional glimpse into the rise, resilience, and heartbreaking final days of one of pro wrestlings most enigmatic figures.
Produced by Rob Van Dam and directed by Joe Clarke, the film delves into Sabus storied career, from his death-defying matches to the personal battles that defined his life. SABU captures the hardcore legends journey leading up to his last match, an unforgettable bout that became his final chapter in the ring. Sabu tragically passed away just three weeks after that bout, leaving behind a legacy that still resonates with fans around the world.
The teaser reveals emotional moments as Sabu reflects on his career, the toll his body endured, and the relationships he forged along the way. Its a story of passion, pain, and the ultimate price of living life on the edge, a voiceover says in the trailer.
Rob Van Dam, who previously teamed up with Clarke for the documentary Headstrong, is back to help tell the story of his longtime friend and wrestling brother. SABU promises to deliver an unfiltered look at the hardcore legends life both in and out of the ring.
