AQA is making her way back to the squared circle after almost three years away from the ring.

The former WWE NXT and AEW talent, real name Angela Quentina Arnold, is set to wrestle for New Texas Pro Wrestling at their Bat City event on June 1 in Austin, Texas.

The promotion confirmed the news with an official announcement on social media, stating, @AQAOfficial10 is set to make her return to Pro Wrestling on Sunday, June 1 live from the @EmpireATX in Austin! The former WWE NXT and AEW star returns to the squared circle for the first time in almost THREE YEARS!! We are excited to have her back home here at New Texas Pro and back competing inside the ring!

AQA began her wrestling career at Booker Ts Reality of Wrestling promotion before signing with WWE in early 2021 under the ring name Zayda Ramier. Her run on NXT was brief but impactful, with five televised matches from March to June 2021. However, a series of medical issues led to her release in November 2021.

She then moved to AEW in February 2022 but only wrestled seven matches for the company before announcing her departure from the wrestling business. Her last recorded match was against Athena for Warrior Wrestling in June 2022.

Now, nearly three years later, AQA is stepping back into the ring in her home state of Texas. Alongside her return, Bat City will also feature AEWs Yuka Sakazaki and the comeback of Lil Evil after a career-threatening injury.
