Shotzi Blackheart officially parted ways with WWE after the company chose not to renew her contract last week. Following her release, Blackheart has now revealed that she actually feels a sense of relief, making it clear her exit lifted a weight off her shoulders.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Shotzi Blackheart was asked to comment on how she was really feeling emotionally and what her thought process was after her WWE departure.
Blackheart said she didnt see it coming, but now feels a sense of freedom and relief, like a heavy weight has been lifted off her. She explained that she has a clearer mindset, feels motivated and excited about whats ahead, and is eager to start working again after spending what felt like two years sitting at home.
We had previously reported that although Shotzi had not been officially released, she was told that her contract is ending soon and WWE doesnt plan to renew it. Her profilehad been moved to the alumni section on WWE.com, making it clear that her time with the company was over.
Nevertheless, Shotzi Blackheart also made it clear she couldnt wait to compete in matches longer than three minutes again in the independent circuit. Therefore, it remains to be seen if Blackheart will end up taking the wrestling world by storm this year, as fans definitely want to see her succeed.
