SALT LAKE CITY (BRAIN) Rotor America, Inc, the North American subsidiary of Spanish bike part manufacturer Rotor Bike Components, has announced they will be closing their doors effective June 15.
The company cited "ongoing tariff insecurity" as a contributor to the decision to close after nearly 10 years in business. Rotor plans to ship to U.S. consumers and dealers directly from its Madrid warehouse.
Rotor America Managing Director Lori Barrett said, "I am grateful to the current U.S. team for their professionalism in light of the difficult situation. It's been an honor to help develop the amazing Rotor America staff over the last decade, and I know this team will continue in to find their places in this industry."
Bike shops can continue to place orders with Rotor America through June 15, after which all orders will be fulfilled out of the Madrid warehouse.
