WWE has been in the mood to cut some talent today. Cora Jade was seemingly fired from her job as an NXT Superstar, and it looks like Eddy Thorpe was as well. Now the brand has seen even more cuts.
Sean Ross Sapp has reported that Gigi Dolin was released from her contract with WWE today. This ends her very entertaining run with the company.
Once a member of Toxic Attraction, Gigi Dolin had the entire NXT Universes attention. Since Many Rose was released from the company, Dolin tried a few stories on her own, but she never quite picked up the momentum she needed.
In recent memory, Gigig Dolin was paired up with Tatum Paxley on NXT. The two also received a WWE Womens Tag Team Title shot, but they didnt come up with the gold. Now, Dolin is on her own once again.
Prior to her stint in WWE, Gigi Dolin was known as Priscilla Kelly, and she drew a lot of attention to herself. Only time will tell what she does next, but she certainly gained a lot of fans in WWE that will likely follow her elsewhere.
Their release is part of a growing list of cuts that includes Braun Strowman and Shayna Baszler. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, former Womens Tag Team Champions, were also part of the cuts.
We will keep our eye on Gigi Dolin. She is certain to make waves where ever she lands next. Until then, she will have a 30-day non-compete associated with the ending of her NXT contract.
