Chelsea Green was left off the WrestleMania 41 card, and she admitted being upset over not being part of the event. With that in mind, Green has now been criticized for publicly complaining about being left off WrestleMania 41.
While speaking on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, the host mentioned how Chelsea Green publicly voiced her frustration over being left off WrestleMania 41 and pointed out the night after her comments, Green dropped the Womens United States Title to Zelina Vega. He proceeded to ask Teddy Long whether Greens comments could lead to some backstage heat.
Teddy Long criticized Chelsea Green for voicing her frustrations publicly. According to Long, showing youre upset about losing or about creative decisions is one of the worst things a wrestler can do.
Long shared a story about when he was told hed be part of a casket segment, which scared him but he kept it to himself. He understood that if he refused, someone else like Vince McMahon, would have just done it instead. He ended it by saying that if someone doesnt like their creative direction, theres always someone else ready to take their place.
This comes after Chelsea Green was asked about fans wanting a Womens Intercontinental Title and Womens United States Title match at WrestleMania. She said WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year, and she really hoped those titles would be included.
Green felt a lot of people supported the idea but understood there wasnt enough time for everything. Even though she was upset over not being part of WrestleMania 41, she said she was proud of the women who were and thought they did a great job.
Chelsea Green also bid farewell to WWE for the time being after losing the Womens United States Championship. Therefore, well have to wait and see when Green will return to WWE television and what the company will have planned for her once shes back.
