Danielle Moinetknown to WWE fans as Summer Raemight be thinking about lacing up her boots again. The former WWE star has been retired since 2017, but now shes openly talking about a possible return to the ring.
In a recent interview with The Wrestling Classics Justin Dhillon, Moinet admitted shes been pulled back into the wrestling world through Hollywood. Shes been working on some film and TV projects involving wrestling and has been training under none other than Chavo Guerrero.
Ive been getting the itch a little bit, she said. Ive been doing some projects in Hollywood that require some wrestling, and so Chavo Guerrero recently told me that I still have it, and Im like, Chavo, dont say that!
Apparently, the encouragement hit hard. He also gave me a Guerrero shirt, and I wear it now, and I feel like Im one of them, Moinet added with a laugh.
While she officially stepped away from WWE years ago, Summer Rae made a surprise return during the 2022 Royal Rumbleand was even paid in cryptocurrency for the appearance. Shes also been vocal about her interest in the crypto world outside the ring.
With Hollywood keeping her close to the business and Guerrero fanning the flames, it sounds like Summer Raes comeback might be more than just a fantasy.
