Premier League, Round 10SunderlandSUN 1 0 Full Time ChelseaCHE Venue Stadium of Light Referee Jarred GillettEnzo Le Fe 36 (Pen) Sunderland moved off the bottom of the Premier League as Enzo Le Fees first-half penalty gave them a 1-0 win over Chelsea.The Black Cats might have expected a difficult afternoon when Sunderland captain Granit Xhaka was forced off after three minutes with an injury.While there will be concern about their skippers fitness heading into the international break, under-pressure manager Regis Le Bris will have been delighted with the resilience his side showed to bounce back from Thursdays dispiriting Europa League loss to Dinamo Zagreb and claim their first league win since August.It came in contentious circumstances, with Chelsea sure to have complaints about the penalty that decided it, awarded for a foul by Levi Colwill on Brian Brobbey after the Blues had been denied a spot-kick of their own at the other end.Le Fee coolly converted, and it proved enough for the hosts as Chelsea struggled to threaten Robin Roefs goal thereafter despite dominating possession.The defeat sees Chelsea drop out of the top four, while Sunderland remain in the relegation zone. However, they can head into the international break with renewed optimism they can pull away from danger over the coming months.More to follow Sunderland Chelsea 1 Goals 0 2.58 xG 0.55 31% Possession 69% 9 Total Shots 10 2 Shots on Target 4 6 Shots off Target 5 2 Corners 2 17 Fouls 7 2 Offsides 0 5 Yellow Cards 4 4 Saves 1 292 Passes 646 203 Passes Completed 576 70% Pass Accuracy 89% Home Away The Premier League Table Premier League 2026 England #TeamPlayedWonDrawnLostGFGAGDPtsLast 5 1 Arsenal109011551027 W W W W W 2 Manchester City107032113821 L L L W W 3 Brighton96122471719 W W L W W 4 Chelsea95131915416 L W L W W 5 Everton104421210216 W W L L D 6 Liverpool9432119215 W L W W L 7 Brentford9351169714 L W D L D 8 Leeds10352108214 W L D D L 9 Bournemouth93331413112 W W W W L 10 Tottenham103341011-112 L W W W D 11 Newcastle103341316-312 D L W L L 12 Aston Villa93331013-312 D W W D W 13 Hull City102531111011 L D D L D 14 Ipswich93241418-411 L D D L W 15 Fulham102441012-210 D D W W L 16 Nottingham Forest10235913-49 W L D L L 17 Coventry103071019-99 L W L L W 18 Manchester United91441015-57 L L D D D 19 Crystal Palace9216921-127 L L L L W 20 Sunderland9126717-105 W L D L L Position 1, 2, 3, 4 : Promotion Champions League (League phase) Position 5 : Promotion Europa League (League phase) Position 18, 19, 20 : Relegation Championship Upcoming fixtures for Sunderland and Chelsea Upcoming Fixtures : Sunderland Premier League Aston Villa AST 15:00 2026-11-21 Sunderland SUN UEFA Europa League Sunderland SUN 20:00 2026-11-26 Jagiellonia JAG Premier League Sunderland SUN 15:00 2026-11-28 Tottenham TOT Premier League Liverpool LIV 20:00 2026-12-02 Sunderland SUN Premier League Newcastle NEW 15:00 2026-12-05 Sunderland SUN Upcoming Fixtures : Chelsea Premier League Chelsea CHE 15:00 2026-11-21 Leeds LEE Premier League Nottingham Forest NOT 15:00 2026-11-28 Chelsea CHE Premier League Chelsea CHE 20:00 2026-12-02 Crystal Palace CRY Premier League Chelsea CHE 15:00 2026-12-05 Liverpool LIV Premier League Manchester City MCI 15:00 2026-12-12 Chelsea CHE Topics Chelsea F.C.
