So far during their AEW stay, New Level's Austin Creed and Kofi have found themselves tied to Swerve Strickland, competing for the AEW World Trios Championships against "Hangman" Adam Page and Brodido in a feud that may soon devolve into a Texas Death Match. But no matter how that saga turns out, Kofi and Creed appear to have another potential program they're looking forward to just as much, if not more. Kofi revealed what that feud was during an appearance on "The Mick and Kenny Show," telling Mick Foley this potential rivalry was a huge catalyst for why he and Creed decided AEW was the place to be."The main reason that we came to AEW was for the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega," Kofi said. "And again, going back to manifestation, we had a, like a video game challenge with the Bucks and Kenny, and we had a big face off when we were still with WWE. And I don't know how that was allowed to happen, because they were very particular about not letting people interact with people from other promotions."So we talk about it all the time, like our dream opponents being the Young Bucks, being Kenny Omega. And now that we're here, we're on the cusp of it actually being possible to happen. Even at All In, and then the 'Dynamite' after, we had the little ships in the night, and I was like 'Oh my god. It's so close.'"As noted by Kofi, he and Creed came face to face with the Bucks at AEW All In, during a confrontation that featured fellow AEW teams Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, FTR, and the Motor City Machine Guns. A month later, the Bucks would defeat FTR and Copeland and Cage to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships for a fourth time, setting up a potential tag title match between them, Kofi and Creed, should the latter team earn a tag title shot in the future. If you use any of the quotes in this article, please credit "The Mick and Kenny Show" and provide a h/t to Wrestling Inc. for the transcription
