
The September 16 edition of "AEW Dynamite," a show less than two weeks out from AEW All Out 2026, saw an increase in viewership from the previous week's "Rebel Heart" special. The main event of the episode saw the Death Riders take on Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira, and Andrade El Idolo, in one of Pac's final matches before his untimely passing on September 27.According to Wrestlenomics, the September 16 edition of "Dynamite" drew 723,000 viewers, up 27 percent from the previous week's 571,000 viewers. The show earned a 0.16 in the ever-important ages 18-49 demographic, up 60 percent from the September 9 episode's 0.10 rating.Compared to the same point of September last year, "Dynamite's" viewership was up 22 percent from the September 2025 average of 569,000. The average rating, 0.14, was up 17 percent from last year's average 0.12.Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, and Pac scored the victory over the United Empire in the main event, before Moxley's AEW World Championship match against Ospreay at All Out. Elsewhere on the show, Lena Kross defeated Jamie Hayter, Tommaso Ciampa squashed Myles Hawkins in a quick victory, and Chris Jericho defeated Nick Wayne.It was revealed on the show that Thekla and Willow Nightingale would go one-on-one at AEW All Out to determine the next challenger for Mercedes Mone's AEW Women's World Championship. "Hangman" Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido also defeated the Conglomeration's Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, and Orange Cassidy to become number one contenders to the AEW World Trios titles.
