Last Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter announced that "MLW Fusion" would air on Tubi on Thursday nights. It began airing that night and will continue airing every Thursday on the free streaming platform.While it is still unknown how long the deal between MLW and Tubi will last, some more details have been revealed. According to Fightful Select, it's a rights fee deal with a revshare for the library integration. The deal between the two was made in August.The deal comes nearly five years after MLW filed an antitrust lawsuit against WWE. The lawsuit alleged that WWE pressured Tubi to abandon contracts and prospective relationships with MLW. Tubi is owned by Fox, which was airing "WWE SmackDown" at the time. The lawsuit alleged Stephanie McMahon was the WWE official that pressure Tubi to abandon MLW.A settlement was reached in December 2023.MLW revived "Fusion" in May after a three-year hiatus. The show has been airing for free on YouTube. MLW owner Court Bauer told THR that "we built MLW around that, no paywalls, no subscription barriers, nothing standing between a fan and the show, and Tubi shares that same fan-first philosophy at scale."
