Cody Rhodes may not be on good terms with Randy Orton right now, but the former WWE Champion has acknowledged his rival's greatness.Rhodes shares a close friendship with Orton, despite what has been portrayed on screen lately, and he recently spoke to "Sporf" about whether "The Viper" is one of the greatest he has gotten in the ring with. While he didn't conclusively say that Orton is the best, "The American Nightmare" stated that Orton is in a special group of wrestlers who could be regarded as the greats of the business."I think you find yourself with what's called, Arn Anderson used to refer to it as this golden circle of wrestlers. So, it's really hard. I always struggle when we talk about GOATs or talk about Mount Rushmore because there's so many, and there's so many years of equity, and I love the game, so I'm always watching it, old and new. He's in that golden circle, and that's a count on one hand, the golden circle, and maybe it's just three. But people like John Cena, for example, you know, when you're in there with someone who has not only a career that's truly amazing and a legacy, but also is capable of greatness on any given night," he said.Rhodes pointed to how Orton is unpredictable, not just because of his finisher, the RKO, but also because of his ability in the ring, saying that he could put on his best performance at any time.Orton and Rhodes' rivalry has spanned a few months now, beginning at WrestleMania, with Rhodes winning two of the three matches between the two. It seems that theduo's feud is set to continuefollowing their match at Sunday Night's Main Event, where Orton got the win over his rival.
