EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsBOSTON -- Caleb Durbin lined a single to center field off Erick Fedde in the 13th inning to score Nick Sogard, and the Boston Red Sox rallied to beat the Chicago White Sox 12-11 on Thursday night to extend their winning streak to eight games.Connor Wong had a two-run home run, and Anthony Seigler added three RBIs and scored a run in a dramatic back-and-forth game that lasted 4 hours and 23 minutes -- the second-longest game in the pitch clock era (since 2023)Boston became the first team in MLB history to score in five consecutive innings in the ninth inning or later, according to Elias Sports Bureau."It was unbelievable," Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy said. "They just did not want to lose."Wilyer Abreu added two RBIs, including one to tie the score in the ninth inning. Andruw Monasterio had two RBI doubles.Brayan Bello (4-6), the last of nine Red Sox pitchers, worked two innings for the victory. Fedde (6-7) was the last of eight Chicago pitchers.Boston has won 10 of its past 11 games and 10 consecutive series overall. It has 13 straight wins against teams that entered the game with a winning record, tied for the longest streak by any team in the expansion era (since 1961)."We're so deep right now," Durbin said.
