Heat executives and Wiggins' agents at CAA Sports, Steven Heumann and Andrew Morrison, as well as Richard Clarke, came to terms on the new contract.The forward is set to serve as a key starter on a revamped Heat squad following the agreed-to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo.Wiggins, 31, averaged 15.4 points per game while shooting 47.5% from the field and 41.4% from 3 in his first full season with the Heat following a deadline deal with the Golden State Warriors in February 2025.At 6-foot-6, Wiggins is a capable perimeter defender with the ability to create his own offense and knock down 3-point shots -- a valued skill set in the modern NBA. A former first overall draft pick, Wiggins has extensive playoff experience and helped Golden State win the 2022 NBA championship.
