Selby brings serious credentials with him, including multiple Emmy nominations tied to high-profile productions. He was nominated in 2023 for his lighting work on American Idol, and again in 2025 for both SNL50: The Homecoming Concert and another run with American Idol. That kind of background suggests WWE is investing heavily in upgrading its visual presentation. The role itself is key. Show production and design touches everything from stage setup and lighting to the overall look and feel of weekly programming and premium live events. With WWE continuing to evolve its presentation, especially after WrestleMania 42, bringing in someone with that level of experience could signal noticeable changes ahead.
