Chris Jericho didnt hold back when he returned to the spotlight on AEW Dynamite, and things quickly turned personal when he started taking shots at Ricochet. Renee Paquette brought Jericho to the ring to talk about his recent loss to Ricochet at AEW Dynasty. Jericho admitted he enjoyed the match despite losing and even congratulated Ricochet for the win. That didnt last long once Ricochet walked out. Ricochet said he respected Jericho, but made it clear he believed Jericho should walk away while he still could. He reminded Jericho that he beat him and claimed the momentum now belongs to him. Ricochet told Jericho he should consider ending things before they get worse. Ricochet told Jericho to do himself a favor and quit while he is ahead, saying this could be the best run of his entire career if he keeps winning. Jericho fired right back and immediately went after Ricochets appearance. Jericho said the Ricosault was brutal, then took a shot by saying Ricochet is bald and that he appreciates him coming out bald and respects his opinion bald. That line set the tone fast. Jericho didnt stop there either. He mocked Ricochets backup and challenged him to step into the ring alone. Jericho told Ricochet he was standing on the stage with his two goons, calling them dumb and ugly, before telling Ricochet to leave them behind and come down to the ring to face him one-on-one right now. Ricochet eventually entered the ring, but things didnt stay one-on-one for long. Jericho landed a hip toss and clothesline once Ricochet stepped inside, but Ricochets allies rushed in seconds later. The numbers game took over quickly as the group triple-teamed Jericho and left him laid out in the ring. Ricochet and his crew stood tall after the attack, sending a clear message that Jerichos return to action wont come easy after his loss at Dynasty. The segment added more heat to their rivalry, especially after Jerichos repeated shots about Ricochet being bald and challenging him to fight alone.
