Myles Borne has heard the Randy Orton comparisons for years, but according to him, this didnt just start after he joined WWE it goes all the way back to when he was a kid. While speaking with Denise Salcedo, the NXT Mens North American Champion explained that people have been stopping him in public for years because of how much they think he looks like Randy Orton. Borne said the comparisons didnt begin once he entered WWE, even though many fans assume thats when it started. Those moments didnt stop as he got older either. Borne recalled one strange moment before his WWE tryout when he and his mother were eating at Texas Roadhouse and noticed several men staring at them before eventually approaching. Despite the awkward moments, Borne made it clear he takes the comparisons as a compliment, especially because Orton played such a big role in inspiring his wrestling career. Borne has been building momentum in NXT in recent months. He captured the NXT North American Championship on the February 24 episode of NXT by defeating Ethan Page and has continued to prove himself with successful defenses since then. His recent win over Johnny Gargano at NXT Stand & Deliver added even more credibility to his growing rsum, and the comparisons to Randy Orton dont seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
