Braun Strowman is looking back at his WWE run and hes not holding back about the creative process. After being released in May 2025 and moving on to new projects like his show Everything on the Menu, Strowman is now opening up about what it was really like behind the scenes and how different things are for him now. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter on March 24, 2026, Strowman explained that one of the biggest changes since leaving WWE is finally having creative freedom. Before getting into the criticism, he first made it clear that his time in WWE still meant something to him but it came with limitations. Thats where the tone changed. Strowman admitted that not everything he was given to work with creatively hit the mark and he didnt sugarcoat how he felt about it. That line stands out especially coming from someone who spent over a decade in the company and was pushed as a top monster. He then contrasted that experience with what hes doing now, making it clear just how different things feel when he has a say in the process: Well, now with this opportunity my creative input is welcomed, its not dismissed. Instead of being handed a role to play, hes now part of shaping what he does, which he made clear has changed how he approaches his work entirely. So, Braun Strowman isnt just reflecting on WWE, hes drawing a line between then and now. And based on his comments, creative freedom is the biggest difference.
