
EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsThe New York Jets have agreed to a two-year contract worth up to $20 million contract with guard Dylan Parham, a source told ESPN's Rich Cimini.Parham's addition comes after the Jets lost starting guards John Simpson (to the Baltimore Ravens) and Alijah Vera-Tucker (to the New England Patriots) in free agency.Parham will take over as the Jets' new starting left guard.The Jets also agreed to a one-year contract with reserve offensive lineman Max Mitchell on Wednesday, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.Parham, 26, has been a stable presence on the Las Vegas Raiders' offensive line. In four seasons, Parham has started in 63 of 64 career games with the organization.He once again will be blocking for quarterback Geno Smith, who was traded to the Jets on Tuesday.Last season, the Raiders' coaching staff made a handful of changes to the offensive line. Among those moves was moving Parham from right guard to left. In 15 starts, Parham allowed 6 sacks and 43 pressures in 517 pass-blocking snaps. He also had a pass block win rate of 95.2% -- a career high -- and a run block win rate of 69.7%.The Raiders drafted Parham in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft after he played four years at Memphis.ESPN's Ryan McFadden contributed to this report.
