On March 10, Shotzi took to Twitter and asked the public for help locating her brother Deano after his vehicle was discovered crashed near the Fort Mason and Marina District area. Security footage reportedly showed him walking away from the wrecked car, raising fears about his safety. Shotzi explained at the time that her brother was undergoing dialysis and might have been confused or disoriented, which made the situation especially alarming for the family. Thankfully, less than 24 hours later, Shotzi shared an update revealing that he had been located. In a tweet on March 11, she told followers that her brother had been found and was receiving medical care: My brother has been found and is being taken to the hospital. After confirming the good news, Shotzi also took time to thank the thousands of people who helped spread the message across social media and raise awareness about the situation. She made it clear that the response from the public meant a great deal to her family during an extremely stressful moment.
