Brock Lesnar may finally have his WrestleMania 42 opponent and a new report says its likely going to be Oba Femi. According to PWInsider on March 11, 2026, the current expectation among sources inside WWE is that Oba Femi will be the one stepping up to face Lesnar on the grand stage. Lesnar returned to WWE on the February 23 episode of WWE Raw alongside Paul Heyman and immediately issued an open challenge for WrestleMania. Weeks later, WWE still hasnt officially revealed who will answer it which has led to plenty of speculation about possible opponents. One name that has consistently popped up in fan discussions is GUNTHER, given the potential for the match. But according to the new report, people within WWE dont believe that match is the direction the company is heading. Instead, PWInsider reports that Oba Femi is widely expected behind the scenes to be the one challenging Lesnar at WrestleMania. Meanwhile, the situation surrounding Lesnars WrestleMania opponent has also been complicated by reports that Lesnar and Heyman have pushed the idea that Lesnar shouldnt lose another match before he eventually retires something that limits WWEs options for certain dream matches.
