William Regal made a surprise appearance during the March 10, 2026 episode of WWE NXT and it sounds like that return may not be a one-time thing. Regal showed up at ringside alongside Fit Finlay during a major moment in the storyline involving their sons. The segment saw Charlie Dempsey turn on Tavion Heights and align himself with Lexis Kings faction. While the moment played out as part of the shows storyline, a new report suggests Regals appearance was notable for another reason. According to PWInsider on March 11, 2026, Regal had not been seen at the WWE Performance Center for quite some time prior to showing up on NXT this week. The report also noted that Regal had been off the road with the WWE main roster for an extended period, meaning Tuesdays appearance marked the first time he had been present at a WWE event in any capacity in quite a while. Now it appears fans may be seeing a lot more of him. PWInsider reports that the expectation internally is for Regal and Finlay to begin appearing regularly on NXT moving forward. If that plan holds, Regals return could play a major role in the ongoing storyline surrounding Charlie Dempsey and the Birthright faction. Either way, after a lengthy absence from WWE events, Regal is officially back in the mix. Do you think William Regal appearing regularly on NXT is the right move, or should WWE be using him in a different role on television? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback below.
