Ric Flair is looking back at some of the most outrageous nights from his legendary partying days including a birthday celebration that involved rock legends, Hollywood stars, and thousands of dollars spent in a single evening. While speaking on the Legally Goff Podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer shared a story from around his 40th birthday when he attended a concert by rock and roll pioneer Chuck Berry at the Lone Star Cafe in Manhattan. Flair explained that the night quickly turned into a high-end celebration surrounded by celebrities. Flair continued explaining how he spent money to make sure his entire group could sit close to the stage and enjoy the show together: I gave these kids like $500 a piece for all my friends to sit down. According to Flair, the celebration reached another level when Chuck Berry invited him onto the stage during the performance, turning the birthday outing into one of the most memorable nights of his life: Then Chuck had me up on stage with him and everything. That was a $6,000 night. Flair then shared another story from a completely different night that took place during a stay in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace. After checking into one of the top suites at the hotel, Flair said he jokingly told the bellman to treat him like a legendary entertainer arriving at the casino. However, the first attempt didnt quite match what he had in mind, leading him to call downstairs again with a more specific request. Flair admitted the night quickly turned into another expensive outing that drained thousands of dollars before it was over. Looking back at the moment, Flair joked that he ended up draining the ATM machine that night though he noted that he wasnt gambling, so he didnt think much about the spending at the time: I blew up the ATM, but I dont gamble, so I figured what the hell. But I quit all that. Flairs stories have long been part of wrestling history, with the Nature Boy becoming almost as famous for his extravagant lifestyle as he was for his championship career inside the ring. Do you think Ric Flairs wild lifestyle helped build the larger-than-life legend of the Nature Boy, or did those stories sometimes overshadow his wrestling legacy?
