David Finlay didnt waste any time getting into the ring after arriving in All Elite Wrestling, competing in his first AEW match during the March 7, 2026 episode of AEW Collision. Finlay teamed up with fellow members of The Dogs Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors in a dominant trios match against three enhancement talents. The trio wasted little time overwhelming their opponents and picked up a decisive victory in their first outing together under the AEW banner. The appearance marked Finlays first match for the company just days after he made his initial AEW debut on AEW Dynamite. During that appearance, Finlay joined Kidd and Connors in launching an attack on Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin following their match. The attack immediately established the group as a new threat in AEW. Before arriving in AEW, the trio had been competing together in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as members of the Bullet Club War Dogs faction. Their move to AEW now brings that alliance onto a much larger stage. The rivalry with Cassidy and Allin is already continuing, as Finlay is scheduled to return to action on the upcoming episode of Dynamite. On that show, he will team with Kidd to face Cassidy and Allin in a tag team match. With Finlay now officially competing inside an AEW ring and his group already targeting top names, the arrival of The Dogs could quickly reshape the landscape of the roster.
