NXT Vengeance Day kicked off with a no DQ match with Blake Monroe and Jaida Parker. This match was a long time coming, and the competitors brought all the violence to the table that they could. This match opened up the premium live event. On the way to the ring, Jaida Parker debuted new entrance music. Booker T made mention of it and really jammed out as well. This match included a lot of action at ringside. Weapons were all over the ring and under the ring as well. They loaded up their surroundings with weapons, including a pink baseball bat. This resulted in a brutal back-and-forth contest. At one point, Blake Monroe loaded her hand with a weapon as she wrapped it up. Then she belted Parker, but only got a near fall. Then Blake pulled off a crossface lock with a kendo stick, but Miss Parker got out of the situation. Then Jaida Paker grabbed the kendo stick and started whacking Blake. The action carried on like this throughout the entire match. Parker put Monroe through a table with a plummeting tear drop off the top turnbuckle to the floor. Then Monroe kicked out in the center of the ring after eating a Hipnotic from Parker. Blake was able to get the upper hand, and then she poured out a bag of fake diamonds, threw them in Parkers face, and nailed a Glamour Shot on the diamonds to win the match. This was a brutal way to start Vengeance Day. Only time will tell what is next for either of them at this point. Whats your take on how NXT opened up Vengeance Day?
