Steven Borden Jr., who competes under the name Steven Borden, made his in-ring debut in October 2025 and has since worked several dark matches at AEW and ROH tapings. Now, a former WWE Superstar has confirmed hes playing a key role in shaping the second-generation talents development. Speaking on Paltrocast with Darren Paltrowitz, NJPWs Fred Rosser known to WWE fans as Darren Young revealed that hes been privately training Borden and treating the process as a major personal focus. Rosser made it clear that Borden isnt just training casually. Hes actively getting ring experience in front of live crowds. For Rosser, this isnt just another student its a passion project. Steven Borden has appeared in dark matches at AEW Dynamite tapings on December 10, 2025, January 21, and February 4, as he quietly builds experience away from television cameras. With his father Sting cemented as one of wrestlings most iconic figures, expectations are naturally high.
