Ava is officially done with WWEand now the company has spoken out.
Shortly after Ava (real name Simone Garcia Johnson) announced her exit on Instagram, WWE issued a public statement via Fightful Select that gave her props on the way out.
Earlier today, Ava took to Instagram to confirm that this weeks episode of WWE NXT was her last with the company. She said the decision not to renew her contract was a tough one but ultimately necessary for a new phase in her life.
As the daughter of Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Ava signed with WWE in 2020 and made her NXT debut in 2022 as a member of The Schism. By 2024, she became the youngest General Manager in WWE history and introduced the NXT Womens North American Championship at Stand & Deliver.
Now that her chapter in WWE has officially closed, all eyes are on what she does next. Hollywood? Another wrestling promotion? Or something completely different?
Either way, WWE made sure to give her credit on the way outand fans everywhere are watching to see where Simone Garcia Johnson shows up next.
