Two notable WWE names now appear to be officially ruled out of competing in the 2026 Royal Rumble.

Michin announced on January 29 that she will be hosting a Royal Rumble watch party alongside Kevin Owens at a Dave & Busters location in Orlando, Florida. The event is scheduled to take place during the show, strongly suggesting that neither performer will be physically present at the premium live event.

Michin wrote on social media, WWE Watch Party at Dave & Busters on International (Orlando) this Saturday with @FightOwensFight and I this Saturday for #RoyalRumble come through!

That announcement effectively shuts down ongoing fan speculation that either star could make a surprise appearance in the Rumble matches.

Kevin Owens has been sidelined since March 2025 due to a serious neck injury and has not been cleared to return to in-ring action. Michin is also currently inactive following an injury suffered during WWEs recent holiday tour, further reinforcing that neither performer is expected to be involved in the event itself.

With both stars now publicly booked for an off-site appearance during the Royal Rumble, any hope of last-minute surprise entries appears to be off the table.
