The Tony Khan burner account drama took a wild twist on January 28, 2026, when AEW star Ricochet jumped into the conversationby trolling the entire situation.
Amid online speculation from Nick LoPiccolo, who claimed a suspicious Twitter account under the name Ron was secretly being run by AEW President Tony Khan, Ricochet decided to have a little fun as he claimed hes Tony Khans burner account.
The tweet comes less than 24 hours after LoPiccolo logged back onto Twitter on January 27 after a brief suspensionand came out swinging. He accused an account named Ron (@Ron11479281) of being a burner operated by Tony Khan himself. According to LoPiccolo, the account had inside AEW knowledge, posted anti-trans and anti-Jade Cargill content, and immediately locked down after LoPiccolo tagged NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
While LoPiccolos post led to new discussions about online harassment and AEWs inner culture, Ricochets sarcastic comment appears to be AEWs only public-facing responseone that turns the accusation into a punchline rather than a scandal.
