Tony Khan can hype Dynamite all he wantsbut Twitter users only want to talk about Ron.
On January 28, 2026, the AEW President tweeted out a promo for tonights AEW Dynamite episode, promising it would be stacked and encouraging fans to tune in on TBS or HBO Max.
But the replies? Brutal. Fans instantly hijacked the comments with jokes about Ronthe alleged burner account that former PR rep Nick LoPiccolo claimed Khan was secretly operating. The Ron jokes didnt stop.
The replies were a direct reference to LoPiccolos January 27 post, where he accused the now-locked @Ron11479281 account of being a Khan burner used to harass critics, leak inside information, and target mutual enemies. LoPiccolo tied the alleged account to his own suspension from Twitter, which happened shortly after he tagged NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
AEW talent Ricochet had already trolled the situation earlier in the day, claiming he was Tony Khans burner account, saying, : Guys, Im actually @TonyKhan burner account. #LetsFGo
But fans clearly werent doneand Khans attempt to pivot the focus back to Dynamite ended up becoming ground zero for more trolling. As of now, Tony Khan has not publicly addressed the burner account accusation, and the Ron account remains deactivated or locked.
Do you think fans took it too far, or is it all fair game in wrestling Twitter drama? Let us know what you thinkand whether Ron should get a segment on Dynamite!
